Pirate Summit 2016 is back for its sixth year to gather around founders, investors and corporate executives in a two day packed with craziness.
On September 6-7th, Pirate Summit 2016 will lift off the ground with 1000+ people from all around the world with the soul mission “to foster meaningful connections across the world’s startup ecosystems and celebrate true entrepreneurship.” The event will consist of 2 days of full packed speeches, panels, pitch competition and lots of networking with other entrepreneurs from around the world. The events famous Pirates On Shore global world tour started months ago before the summit itself. The Pirate Crew visited more than 45 cities in Europe and the Middle East to seek outexciting young startups as the winners to participate and pitch at Pirate Summit back in Cologne, Germany.
More than 250 startups pitched in front of a local jury committee in each city. 80 startups have been selected to pitch at Pirate Summit this September. It is said that the event will gather around 650 startup founders, 200 investors, 150 corporate and media executives and 60 expert speakers with entrepreneurship, engineering and investment backgrounds to take the stage. Pirate Summit will bring together individuals from different startup communities in order to tighten the relationships between startup ecosystems and the global startup community.
Among the speakers Renaud Visage from Eventbrite, Fred Destin from Accel partners, Ekaterina Gianelli from Inventure, Olaf Koch from Metro Group and Leo Widrich from Buffer can be seen.
