This year Pirate Summit teamed up with Finstars to bring the event to Tehran. Pirate Summit Tehran was held on July 11th and on the second day of Finstars expo. Finstars attracted hundreds of fintech enthusiast to Tehran’s International Fair Ground and was home to 10 local VCs and 50 fintech startups which showcased their work during the four days of the expo.

10 teams pitched their startups to the audience and the jury team during the Pirate Summit Tehran event. 2nate, a crowdfunding platform won the local competition and received USD 1.5K cash prize and the chance to attend the global event on September 6th and 7th in Cologne, Germany. Hi, I appreciate all this content coming out of Techrasa. This is the most systematic exposure of highly accomplished and super smart Iranian tech community to outside that I’ve seen. I am in New York City. Just want to provide feedback that the video streams to where I am in US is very bad. Please host your videos on Youtube or another CDN so the experience of watching your content is not diminished. The video stream keeps buffering from what I assume to be either distant hosting server or low quality bandwidth pipes.
