Crowdup brings a unique and colorful perspective to Turkish startup ecosystem on April 16th. Crowdup is a one full day technology and art combined startup conference held by mostly student volunteers and professionals.
Crowdup invites you to a new concept of startup conference where investors, entrepreneurs, doers and dreamers join up under the Crowdup roof.
There are no entrance fees, but rather 1000+ people join with their answers to the ultimate question, “How Turkey’s startup ecosystem can get better?”. There are no precedences, but rather startups get the chance to present themselves by being voted and elected by the participants. Attendees will vote for 20 startups and 10 startups will be on stage. There will be some prizes for the best 3 startups.
In this Conference you will meet with musicians, play some games with Gram Games, drink coffee and tea, interact with startups in 20+ startup booths and meet “The coders of tomorrow” via Coderdojo, and have lots of fun during the day with the collaboration of Garaj, Kolektif House and İTÜ Çekirdek. There are 2 panels, first “journey of a startup” from seed to exit, which 4 startups will share their experience. Second “smart money” 5 VCs and angel investors tell how money and investment should develop a startup.
Garaj is an underground hacker community in Istanbul, which now has almost 500 people in its network. They are the hacker-news community of Turkey. Their partners are İTÜ Çekirdek Incubation Center and Kolektif House co-working space and beunion platform.
The event would be held on April 16th in Süleyman Demirel Conference Hall at İstanbul Technical University Ayazağa/ Maslak Campus.
