This Wednesday more than 160 people attended Hamfekr weekly networking event at Avatech Startup Accelerator and celebrated the launch of TechRasa with us.
Iran’s startup community has prospered significantly during the past couple of years and got to a point where it has one of the fastest growing startup ecosystems in the region right now.
As the new waves of startup entrepreneurs are being shaped here in Iran and the numerous tech events that are taking place here, and programs like the startup weekend that has been held more than 50 times so far, we can surely expect a more vibrant and engaging community.
With all that said, lack of an English tech news and analysis website covering the startup scene in Iran has been always felt. Techrasa’s task is to expose activities of the startup ecosystem in Iran in English. With the vision of empowering and inspiring the local entrepreneurs, it also plans to give startups the online exposure they need and to promote Iranian entrepreneurs and show their achievements to the world.
