The Iranian Modern Business Company (IMBCO) was established 6 years ago which is considered one of the main e-commerce players in Iran’s startup scene having NetBarg, Chilivery and Tik8 in its portfolio.
Iran’s internet bandwidth will increase to 12,000 gigabits per second until the end of the current Persian year, according to a statement by Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology. Internet prices will also decrease in the next couple of weeks by 15 percent as promised by the government.
It all started in the spring of 2014 in Tehran. A bunch of kids who studied in one of the best high schools in Iran, just took Konkoor exam (a standardized test widely used for college admissions in Iran) and instead of playing around or just studying their courses, they wanted to start a project and do something real not just studying.
