The biggest gathering of Iranian designers is taking place in late February 2017 at Tehran’s Milad Conference Hall. This design conference is called “Man Taraham” which is translated into English as “I’m a Designer”.
Events and gatherings are a great way to add to your knowledge, gain new skills and to find like-minded folks in different communities. You may get to know people that would leave a big mark on your career path, or you might just get exposed to new ideas that would transform the way you look at different cases. Man Taraham, translated to English as “I’m a Designer” is one of those events which will be held on February 21st at Tehran’s Milad Conference hall. The event aims to gather graphic and web designers, along with experts in architecture, industrial and animation design.
Man Taraham is organized by Spiral Design Center, Young Shahryaran’s House and Pishro Arts and Cultural Foundation. The event will be held for the second year with the purpose of bringing in the biggest community of designers under one roof to share their knowledge, design practices, and also discuss the challenges in this industry.
Design pioneers such as Dr. Iraj Etessam, Professor Bahram Kalhornia and Dr. Abbas Eftekhari are attending the event and will participate in one of the panels. There will also be 15-minute talks by the new generation of designers in Iran in different fields such as mobile app design, web UI and UX.
At the end of the event, a set of standard contract patterns will be introduced to the audience with the support of the community. Many startups are also invited to attend the event and some of them will also give a talk during the conference.
