Recently one of the executive board members of “Information Technology Organization of Iran” stated that they had some guests from Oracle and their competitor companies. But the executives of Oracle Corporation deny any of such meetings.
According to IT Iran’s follow up in GITEX conference, when they asked of this meeting, from Chadi Hamouche and Tamer Draz, two of the Oracle executives in the Middle East, they expressed their unawareness.
“There hasn’t been any official meetings with Iranian officials”, said Chadi Hamouche.
“It’s not clear now, first we have to wait until the sanctions are fully lifted, but this is not the case now”, Hamouche said, when asked about Oracle’s plans to enter Iran in the near future.
Oracle Corporation is a leading computer technology company founded in 1977 and headquartered in Redwood, California. The American company specializes in computer hardware systems and enterprise software products. Some of its products include, enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM) software.
